I actually live in Hertfordshire. I've been to the Wall a few times - four at a guess. I'll take your assumption that I live there as a compliment.

Best regards,

I pesonally do not like fantasy novels. that doesn't mean I don't like science fiction. To me there is a great difference between them. A true Science fiction novel deals with a possible future events or technology. Some science fiction novels of the past are now not fiction. Whether science fiction or adventute my novels weave romance delicately into the story. I also like happy endings.

I agree that the book is charming, but as a mother, grandmother and teacher, I am disturbed by the fact that a preschooler is portrayed routinely jumping from a rope-swing and swimming without direct parental supervision or even the suggestion that Tom Tom is being loosely supervised by his wider family group at the waterhole. Regardless of cultural sensitivity, the book sends the wrong message about water safety and responsible parenting.

First Ms. Harris wrote the books BEFORE Ms. Meyer did. Secondly I read all 8 books and I liked them however there were parts that that made me feel frustrated with Sookie. I Love Bill in the Books and on the show because I can see beneath the superficial actions of the character and see the torment he suffers. I love True Blood because of the themes and messages that the show conveys but most of all I love the love that develops between the Bill and Sookie and how they thought they would never experience love but found it with each other.

I 'm guessing that you know that Dead Until Dark was written in 1998-1999 and first published in 2001 ?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and everything that's been written in the genre since 1999 I would think has certainly been influenced by Ms Harris and Sookie.
